Privacy, explained.

1. Information we process

Your room projects

The app saves room layouts, furniture choices, materials, camera positions, saved views, project previews and preferences on your device. AI source images, generated images and related history may also be saved locally. Creating or editing a layout does not by itself submit that layout for AI generation.

Images you choose and AI generation requests

Images you submit can include a view rendered from a 3D room, a real room or home photo selected from your device, or a new interior photo taken using your camera where photo-based features are available. We also process the resulting AI-generated images. You choose which photos to submit.

When you submit an image for online AI generation or editing, the app uploads that image, together with the selected style, prompt and generation settings, to our online generation service. The service processes this information to produce a design concept and return the result. Requests also include a randomly generated app identifier, request and task identifiers, timestamps and technical request information. The app identifier is used to associate generation requests; it is not your Apple advertising identifier.

Room photographs may reveal people, personal belongings, documents, address details or other identifying information visible in the image. An uploaded file may also include image metadata if that information is present in the submitted file. Please crop or remove information that is not needed for your design request, and submit only images you are entitled to share. The 3D-generation flow sends a rendered view and generation parameters rather than the complete editable room project.

Camera and photo access

Where a feature lets you take a photo, select an image or save a result, it may ask for the camera or photo permissions needed for that action. You can decline or change permissions in your device settings. Declining may prevent that photo feature from working, but does not require you to submit a real photo to use the room-planning tools. Revoking a device permission does not delete images already submitted to the online service.

Technical information

Our hosting, content-delivery and generation infrastructure may process connection and operational information, such as IP addresses, request times, app or browser information, request identifiers and error or security logs, to deliver the service and investigate failures or abuse.

App Store purchases

If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, Apple processes the payment and renewal. Purchase-related information, such as the product purchased, transaction or receipt information and subscription status, may be used to provide or restore access to paid features. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple. Apple's handling of billing and account information is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments or other information you choose to send. Please do not send passwords, full payment card details or unnecessary personal information.

2. How we use information

• Save and display your room designs, views and generated concepts, and process images you submit for photo-based design features.
• Submit generation requests, retrieve results and help resolve failed or interrupted tasks.
• Provide and restore subscription access when purchases are available.
• Respond to support and privacy requests.
• Maintain service reliability and security, investigate misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.

3. Who receives information

Service providers. Cloud hosting, content delivery, AI image-generation and email service providers may process the information needed to perform those services. Online AI generation requires the submitted source image (including a real interior photo or a rendered 3D view) and generation instructions to be processed outside your device by the service and its processing providers.

Apple. App Store transactions, billing, refunds and Apple Account information are handled by Apple under its own terms and privacy practices.

Legal and business circumstances. We may disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security threats, to protect the rights or safety of people, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of the business, subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not add advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics to this website.

4. Storage, retention and security

On your device. Local projects, preferences, saved views and downloaded results are stored in the app's local data. You can remove local app data by deleting the app, subject to your device and backup settings. Exported images and copies stored elsewhere are managed separately.

Online services. Generation requests, uploaded photographs and other source images, results, operational logs and support communications may remain in online systems after a result is delivered. Retention varies by the type of record and the need to deliver or troubleshoot the service, respond to requests, prevent misuse or meet legal obligations. Completing a generation does not by itself confirm deletion from online processing systems. Contact us to ask about or request deletion of information associated with a particular task.

Local deletion and remote tasks are separate. Removing local app data does not automatically delete a task or its data from the online service. Stopping your wait for a result also does not necessarily cancel a generation job already accepted by the service. Use the privacy contact below for requests relating to online data.

Network requests use encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

5. Your choices and requests

• Choose whether to generate. You can use the room-planning tools without uploading a real room photo or submitting a view for online AI generation. Photo-based online design requires the image you choose to be uploaded.
• Manage local content. You can remove local app data by deleting the app. Manage exported files and backups separately.
• Manage device permissions. You can review permissions in your device settings. Where an export or selection feature requests access, you can choose whether to grant it.
• Manage subscriptions. You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple Account's subscription settings. See Apple's cancellation instructions.
• Contact us about your information. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, or ask about other applicable privacy rights. If a request is denied, you may reply to request a review.

Email support@tiffanyfxllc.org with “RoomSpruce privacy request” in the subject. You may request deletion of uploaded photographs, generated results or other information associated with a generation task. Include its task identifier and approximate date if available. We may ask for information reasonably needed to locate the record and verify your request. Do not send your Apple Account password or full card details. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any limitations, such as records we must retain. Deleting data or requesting deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage that separately through Apple.

6. This website and external links

This website does not provide an account login, collect uploaded room images or use a marketing contact form. Email links open your email application. Hosting and network providers may process technical request information to serve and protect the site. Links to Apple and other external services take you to websites governed by their own privacy practices.

7. Children

RoomSpruce is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RoomSpruce and its services develop. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required by law. The policy published here describes the information practices covered by this version.
